Download for macOS

Universal - Apple Silicon and Intel. macOS 13 or later. Signed and notarized; it opens like any other app.

Or build it yourself - github.com/fireharp/mumbli.

Why does this exist?

I wanted an app that does the thing and gets out of the way. Mumbli is stupid simple. You can read all of it. You can tweak it. I also found Groq inference is decent and faster than 11Labs and OpenAI.

What's in it

  • Click, talk, it transcribes.
  • Settings: pick a model, audio input, a polishing prompt.
  • Custom vocabulary, shortcuts, presets.
  • A few debug toggles. That's it.
